FAQ

Can I control Zone 2 functions with my iPhone?
Yes, download the Harman Kardon AVR app to do this.
Can I play contents from a USB stick in Zone 2?
Yes, Zone 2 can play compatible contents of a USB stick inserted into the front panel of the receiver.
Is it sufficient to put the AVR into standby, before connecting a Source or a TV?
For your personal safety and to avoid possible damage to your equipment and speakers, it is always a good practice to turn off and unplug the AVR and ALL source equipment from the AC output before making any audio or video system connections.
I have downloaded the Remote Control App for my AVR, but it does not work when I open it and try to control my receiver. What can I do?
The AVR Remote App controls your receiver through your smartphone, which communicates via your wireless home network. Please make sure that your AVR is properly connected to your network router, with cable for the smaller models. If you have no wireless home network, you cannot use the app.
I want to listen to vTuner / Internet Radio in another room through Zone 2, but I cannot get it to work. Do I do something wrong?
It is possible to listen to Internet Radio through Zone 2, but you must do all vTuner adjustments while you are in Zone 1 first. When you have activated Zone 2 vTuner while in Zone 1 (using Zone 1 commands and the On-Screen Display on your TV), you can listen to vTuner and control its volume in the Zone 2 room with the Zone 2 remote (or the main remote set to Zone 2). If you want to change anything else (which station you want to listen to, for instance), or if you place the AVR Zone 2 in Standby, you must again go to the Zone 1 room to re-activate all vTuner functions 1 for Zone 2.
Sometimes when I watch HD or 3D material, I can see white specks or "snow" on the screen. What can I do to avoid this?
Try another HDMI cable, and make sure that it is a high-speed version. This solution usually solves the problem, which is caused by insufficient cable bandwith.
